Instructions
- Prepare the Batter
- In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined (the batter should be slightly lumpy).
- Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
- Heat the Pan
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Lightly grease the pan with butter or oil.
- Cook the Pancakes
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to set (about 2–3 minutes).
- Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or oil as needed.
- Serve
